I find it a little un-nerving to walk down a street and have a child whistle at me

From a travel report on Agadir, Morocco, by NYC gay activist Robert D'Avanzo: Homophobia exists in Morocco as elsewhere. Most of the police and military (like most other Moroccan men) are bisexual, but be very careful with anyone who can cause difficulty, as homosexual acts are illegal. If you are into very young boys, you will find them here. They approach you and make it very clear that for a small fee they are ready, willing, and able. Forgive me, but I find it a little un-nerving to walk down a street and have a child whistle at me (GLC Voice {Minneapolis}, 18Feb85).
