Of was het die eerste aanraking van een mannenhand? Dat moet nog een paar jaar eerder zijn geweest. Hoe voorspelbaar: het was een kennis van de familie die bijles rekenen gaf. Met dat rekenen is het trouwens nooit wat geworden. Tegenwoordig zou dit onder het kopje kindermisbruik vallen, maar in de vroege jaren zeventig keek men nog niet zo nauw.<br><br />

Ik heb het in elk geval nooit als traumatisch ervaren, al begint de geschiedenis van mijn bi-zijn met een wirwar aan emoties: lust, onzekerheid, plezier, schaamte, spanning en bevrediging. Maar dat hoort vermoedelijk bij elke eerste seksuele ervaring en is niet voorbehouden aan lhbti+βers. Het dominante gevoel was dat ik nergens bij hoorde. Ik was het deksel dat op geen enkel potje past, omdat het op elk potje past.<br><br />
