Maar in hoeverre moet de overheid burgers de &#039;goede&#039; kant opsturen? Een tongpiercing mag bijvoorbeeld slecht zijn voor het gebit. Een burger heeft het recht zijn gevoel voor schoonheid zwaarder te laten wegen dan eventuele schade aan zijn gebit.&lt;br&gt;<br /> &lt;br&gt;<br /> Een van de kenmerken van het totalitarisme is dat de staat bepaalt wat goed is. Ruim een halve eeuw geleden hoopten enkele intellectuelen op de dictatuur van het proletariaat, in de veronderstelling dat zij er niet onder zouden lijden.
