The importation and distribution of lifelike child sex dolls in the United States would be prohibited under legislation that was introduced Thursday. The dolls are made of silicone, anatomically resemble young children and come with "accessories" such as false eyelashes, wigs, warming devices and cleaning tools. Imported from China, Hong Kong and Japan, the dolls are purposely labeled as mannequins or models to avoid detection in the mail. Rep. Daniel Donovan (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn), along with 10 bipartisan cosponsors, introduced the Curbing Realistic Exploitative Electronic Pedophilic Robots or CREEPER Act.
