300-year term in sex assaults on children

Allen Hart, 43, was convicted Friday in Superior Court of eight counts of child molestation and sentenced to 300 years in prison, according to authorities. Hart, a parolee, was found to be in possession of a firearm when he was arrested Aug. 8, according to a news release from the Police Department. He was convicted of having sexually assaulted three children under the age of 8 over the course of a year, the release says.
