[Michael Jackson:] I just hate ordinary love songs, I'm interested in a different type of love song. I want a brand-new thought. That's what I love about Ben. There's a mystery to it... so many people come up to me and say, Why did you create such a song about a little stinkin' rat? How'd you make it so beautiful if it's about a dumb rat?
