Sex offenders face indefinite jail terms

Sex offenders in Western Australia who have already served their jail terms could be sent back to prison indefinitely, under tough new laws. The State Government's Dangerous Sex Offenders bill would give them the power to keep some prisoners in jail beyond their sentence period if psychiatrists believe there is a high risk of re-offending.
