One-third of the 126 children treated for sexual behavior problems at an Omaha facility last year were under 9 years old. Counselor Vickie Peyton said Lutheran Family Services is treating younger and younger children for their sexual behavior. She said that, while the details are shocking, the revelation of a Lincoln case does not surprise her. Two 13-year-old boys are accused of videotaping themselves sexually assaulting two 5-year-olds and a 3-year-old and also taping sexual contact between three young children, according to Lincoln police. Peyton said children don't have to go far to find sexual content on TV or the Internet. "Particularly through the 'HBO Real Sex' channels, they see very graphic things," Peyton said. "We have kids as young as 3 or 4 years old showing that kind of sexualized behavior." Peyton said she treats a lot of preadolescent boys who are just reaching puberty.
