We cannot approach it that distractedly when people are serving life sentences for consensual sex with teenage boys, as for example Robert Butler is in the American state of Nevada. Butler received a dozen consecutive life terms for as many acts of fellatio on a willing 14-year-old boy, and his is not an isolated example. Consider also the fact that organizations attempting to deal with intergenerational sex are being hounded out of existence in state-sponsored witch hunts, as occurred with the Paedophile Information Exchange in Britain, and has been attempted with NAMBLA in the US. Consider the plight of people who merely express solidarity with the struggles of man/boy lovers. Australian schoolteacher and lesbian Allison [Alison] Thorne lost her teaching position after defending the Australian Pedophile Support Group. Consider how the most provoke government attack, as when Amsterdam police seized parts of a photo exhibition at the gay bookstore Intermale in May of this year.
