Sex offenders may get own shelter

Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott doesn't want sex offenders and the general public together in a hurricane shelter. By the time hurricane season begins June 1, Scott and the sexual offender unit at the sheriff's office want a county regulation in place that would designate a separate public shelter for sex offenders.
