Weatherman Fred Talbot found guilty of abusing teenage boys

Talbot, 65, of Bowdon, Manchester, was accused of 10 counts of historical indecent assault relating to five boys, from the 1960s to the 1980s, while a teacher at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. After three days of deliberation, he was today found guilty of assaulting two boys, after a trial at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court. He was found guilty of two of the ten charges of indecent assault - against two students on canal trips in the 1970s.
