Are they afraid of us as fellow male lovers?

As J. Dover pointed out in his 1978 book Greek Homosexuality, man/boy love was once the model of male homosexuality. I guess as time passed the gay society came out of the closet and we, the boy lovers, stopped in. Now, as we try to come back out of the closet a few of the gay society would rather we stayed in our closet so they can bar the door. Are they afraid of us as fellow male lovers? Maybe. Or do they only believe we are users of little boys? Maybe. Then again, maybe it's just the get-back time for the past. I don't know. But when we come out on top, as times says we will, will we choose to remember our brothers (and sisters) that tried to keep us down?
